I'd hope there'd be someone on the Titanic to kiss before it went down. (+1)

That is a very romantic thing to say.

I think so. I worked on a cruise ship called the Fairstar that lost all power and was adrift in the south china sea for five days with a six degree list. Some passengers were worried that pirates would get us or we'd run out of water so there was plenty of kisses going around. I wish I could organise another cruise like that (sigh)

Such an exciting life...

It's hard to find jobs like that these days. I have some photo's of that cruise, I should scan them and post them on here one day. I noticed that there's nothing on the internet from that cruise which surprises me. It was pre-youtube though. Imagine something like that now, it's have video's all over the internet.

Yes...that's is true. Pre Internet ....even worse. Imagine the Titanic...like, now.

I have no time for romance...when I am running around screaming in panic

Like your last kiss before you drown?
says Markymark on May 19th 17 (#2571168)
At that point, it's more like kissing your **** goodbye.

I would be much more concerned with getting my child onto a lifeboat, and if there was no room for me, kiss her goodbye.

Yours is the first post where someone else came first. Thank you.
