I don't remember ever having a teddy bear, but that's ok. My wife is bear enough for me in the mornings. :)

An adults bedroom is no place for a teddy bear.

A teddy bear is too personal and precious to keep in the bedroom. Plus, Teddy Bears have told me they don't like seeing **** going on.

I'm not sure I ever slept with a teddy bear, but I did, I haven't in decades.

I had a stuffed dog named Fred when I was little. I don't sleep with it, but I do have a small mink teddy bear on a bookshelf in my bedroom. (biggrin)

Sweet. I know I had a blankie that I slept with. It had a wide satin edging and I would rub the satin against my upper lip because it felt good. To this day, I'm drawn to pajamas and nighties that have satin on them. :)

Damn, Lin! I never pictured you as a satin woman. That adds a whole new perspective. 😄

You were thinking "flannel," perhaps? There are a few things you don't know about me. :) Yes, there is a satin side to my personality. :)

I still have a few stuffed animals on my bed. I don't cuddle them when I sleep like I did as a child, but they are still on my bed :D

I don't recall ever doing that, and I'm wondering why now. I LOVED my stuffed animals, and was quite afraid of the dark when I was a child, when I had to go to bed alone in my room. My teddy bear Oscar and the others were snuggled together in their own space nearby looking out for me, I guess. :)

Ha ha ha! Until I was a teen, I shared a room with two of my brothers and it was right across from the bathroom, and Mom would leave that light on if asked, so I never had that issue.

I went to bed with the covers over my head and just my eyes and nose sort of peeking out. My eyes only closed when I finally fell asleep. :) Those few times I implored enough for my brother to sleep in the room with me, and they all agreed to it, were the most the most restful.

The dark never kept me awake, but I never had to sleep alone when I was little, so I don't know whether it would have or not.
