Would you rather have your mind or your body in perfect operating condition?

My mind. I would have a better quality of life with an intact mind than an intact body.
says Linnster on Sep 14th 17 (#2653257)
What does that even mean

Bub's question is asking: if you were given the choice of having a perfectly functioning mind to discern intellectual and analytical issues but not a very well-functioning body OR a perfectly functioning body that isn't threatened by disease nor injury but not a well functioning mind, which one of the two sets would you more enjoy peace of mind from than the other?

Mind, I'm sick of depression and OCD

Me too my friend. Me too.

What was that middle option again?
says ZonkeyBalls on Sep 14th 17 (#2653285)
That's a really tough question. If it was something like quadriplegia, then I'd rather be a crazy person who can surf and run the 5k in under 20 minutes.
says OzSurfer on Sep 14th 17 (#2653317)
This is a very difficult question, but if I had to choose I'd go with my mind.
says PhilboydStudge on Sep 14th 17 (#2653348)
I'll take the body. I can live with being a lttle goofy. :)
says Will_Janitor on Sep 14th 17 (#2653370)
My mind. I'll take an imperfect body any day. I'd rather be Stephen Hawking than have dementia.
says Thibault on Sep 14th 17 (#2653400)
Ha I was thinking of Hawking when I saw this post, like how extreme can you get the most perfect of minds with the most imperfect of bodies. 乂ᴼₒᴼ乂
