I would have to agree with your statement, Will. Seems like "life hacks" is just another way of basically putting it. A strategy or technique adopted in order to manage one's time and daily activities in a more efficient way.

Like Rooster says.... Necessity is the mother of invention...and generally men are about productivity... With some things you can be both the mother and father...like coming up with a way of distilling water to make brandy...and then using something like a kitchen utensil that will finesse the procedure... The kitchen utensil usage would be the Life hack...the necessity being I want some cheap brandy...
