How are the mosquitoes around you?
says Will_Janitor on Jul 11th 18 (#821169)
I was hoping to buy a car with a pussy magnet.
What I got was a pair of sneakers with mosquito magnets. They are bigger on this side of the pond. I was quite intrigued, when I saw the ones in Dallas. They were like one third of the size we have to deal with around here.

Hardly any this year and I'm glad.

What's mosquitoes ...I think I've read about them...
says JD on Jul 11th 18 (#2790253)
JD no biting flies in england?
says LorraineTwevlehundredRaineTwelvehundred on Jul 11th 18 (#2790287)
Very rare...one bite a year...lol
says JD on Jul 12th 18 (#2790306)
Yo are a lucky guy.
says LorraineTwevlehundredRaineTwelvehundred on Jul 12th 18 (#2790351)
JD only bites flies, when it suits his diet.
says ZonkeyBalls on Jul 12th 18 (#2790397)
It's that water polo team from the Eastern part of Sahara.
says ZonkeyBalls on Jul 12th 18 (#2790396)
Like everything else in Texas... big
says ForkNdaRoad on Jul 11th 18 (#2790280)
If those are big, then I guess Finland is the worst place on Earth.
About the size somewhere between completely imaginary and a truck.
says ZonkeyBalls on Jul 12th 18 (#2790398)
Are they huge there? I've heard some pretty crazy stories about mosquitoes up north.
We have a large colony of bats in Austin that helps rid us of mosquitoes here. So I probably shouldn't complain :)
says ForkNdaRoad on Jul 12th 18 (#2790466)
Well, I wouldn't recommend hiking in the rural areas of Finland during the summertime.
It's going to hurt you much more personally, than just your wallet, trying to find a proper cure for the fifteen cubic feet bulgy extensions of your already weirdly shaped head.
says ZonkeyBalls on Jul 12th 18 (#2790488)
Well that settles it then, I can't afford for this head to get any weirder than it already is!
says ForkNdaRoad on Jul 12th 18 (#2790573)
some got into my bedroom last night awful I couldn't sleep and started feeling itchy all over- that picture is crazy disturbing
says LorraineTwevlehundredRaineTwelvehundred on Jul 11th 18 (#2790284)
I've not seen any this year....but I don't spend much time outside!
says StarzAbove on Jul 12th 18 (#2790308)
Mosquitoes are always bad around here, soon as the weather is warm enough for them to come out.
If I went outside right now, it wouldn't take long for the acupuncture to start.

I got my **** licked by a Martian psycho toad.
says ZonkeyBalls on Jul 12th 18 (#2790400)
No bites yet .... and believe me, I'm always attacked badly if there is one mosquito within a mile!
says JanHaskell on Jul 12th 18 (#2790343)
Just got back from New England. Just saddle 'em up but the black flies were worse.
says ozzyboy on Jul 12th 18 (#2790350)
Horse flies always seem to think they should have a free ride on my backside. I guess I'm just the regular whipping boy for them.
says ZonkeyBalls on Jul 12th 18 (#2790401)
One day a buddy and I were out for a ride on our motorcycles and we stopped on top of a mountain to have lunch. Horror of horrors, there were horseflies. Oddly though, although they were buzzing around us, they didn't seem to be too interested in biting us. As it turned out, we were attracting blackflies and the horseflies were eating the blackflies. We ate our lunch and got the **** out of there, lol.

"What the ****?"
says ZonkeyBalls on Jul 22nd 18 (#2795104)
Every damn summer.
says dru18 on Jul 12th 18 (#2790352)
Finnish mosquitos are worse. They survive the winter, thanks to necromancers and black voodoo priests. Not to sound racist, though...
says ZonkeyBalls on Jul 12th 18 (#2790403)
Our's are surviving the winters as well, thanks to Global Warming.
says dru18 on Jul 12th 18 (#2790549)
Never too bad here. Should be as the river and backwater are close. But...i have bats! I love my bats:)

says Carla on Jul 12th 18 (#2790428)
They were pretty aggressive earlier, but since the heat wave seem to have been less of a nuisance during the day.
says Freeranger on Jul 12th 18 (#2790415)
Mosquitoes have always been fond of me. It's been a dry summer in Western NY, but I still notice them.
says PhilboydStudge on Jul 12th 18 (#2790436)

says Fredrik on Jul 12th 18 (#2790486)
In Marburg, sie heben Pokalen,
Und singen mit runden Vokalen:
" 'Sgibt keine Moskitos,
Jedoch gibt's Burritos
In mehreren Mex-Esslokalen."
says Thinkerbell on Jul 13th 18 (#2790594)
Ich bin beeindruckt, ja, Sie haben recht, wir haben hier keine Moskitos.
